Dance metal! A term I thought I'd never use or hear, but Nahira combines pop sounds with frantic guitar work and touches of electronic to create anthemic pop-goth songs that sound like something out of discotheque or anime tv series that probably leans more toward dark pop music than true metal.

 

Her poppy riffs and tones are similar to Grimes, Phantogram with hints of Wendy O. Williams, with subject matters that leans heavily into emasculating men with sometimes violent imagery and fuck-it-all attitude.

Creation: My wife named Nahira. The name is an alternate take on the name 'Nahir' that my wife uses for her dark elf in our Dungeons 'n' Dragons campaign. The concept and the name fits the theme I was striving for - a take no prisoners empowered female vocalist.
