Hailing from the nether regions of Honajuju, Hawaii comes the devil-marked lazarus men known as the Aloha Grimm. Bringing their somber and murderous tones to the masses led by their frontman the mysterious and enigmatic El Kano... Aloha Grimm harkens back to the sounds of such infamous bands as Nine Inch Nails, Type O Negative and Danzig.

Planted purely in the alt-punk, grunge metal genre Aloha Grimm's music ranges in subject matter from topics such as killer hillbillies, serial killers and hitmen and backwoods voodoo witches!

Creation: For over a year I had the name Grimm for a band, but never could figure out what the sound would be. I wanted something evil and menacing in subject matter and tone as Fat Hearse, but not as heavy. I originally envisioned something similar to Nick Cave or some of the slower, plodding songs by Danzig.

In the end I came up with the name Aloha Grimm and pictured the band in Hawaiian shirts, board shorts and tattooed sleeves; something akin to a death metal band on a family vacation. Think being that one goth kid who goes with his family to the beach - pasty white skin, refuses to remove his Misfits shirt and wears corpse paint everywhere the family goes.
