George
George is artsy and melodic with a dose of melodrama. They are akin to a lighter version of High Relief but with more range in style. Subject matter runs the gamut from piano driven ballads to screeching radio-friendly sounding rock.
Musically similar in vein as mid-80's pop metal groups like Europe, Winger and Lillian Axe with a mix of alt-rock and indie sensibilities like Smashing Pumpkins and 90's era faux metal like Sum 41, etc.
Chris Curry - Vocals
Russ Bishop - Guitar

Lauren Hall - Bass
Glenn McDowd - Keyboards
Creation: A lot of times when creating songs for High Relief or some other bands, particularly the female ones like Marina Hurz or Nahira an idea originally written for one of those bands would take a different turn or become a "happy" alternate take on the premise. That lead to the sound of George, with the name being a one word moniker which was inspired by similar names like Bono, Sting or Prince... although being the name of the entire band, since I did not envision someone in the group actually being named George.
